Glass Mount Antennas for Cellular, PCS and Nextel

Glass mount antennas are mounted on the glass of your vehicle. There is an inside coupling box and an exterior antenna whip. Both are applied with semi-permanent adhesive. No holes are drilled in the glass! If you should need to remove these antennas you will need to carefully cut the adhesive from the glass. If done correctly, this will not cause any damage to the vehicle. However, the antenna adhesive is destroyed and a re-install kit will be needed to mount the antenna on another vehicle.

Important Note: Not all glass mount antennas are the same. Antennas should be installed as a complete unit (whip, base, coupling box and cable). Different manufacturers use different whip lengths that are tuned to the coupling box and cable. If you are looking for a replacement whip, it is not possible to purchase a "standard" whip. You would have to determine who the manufacturer is and get the exact replacement part. Also, it is not possible to change a single band antenna into a Dual Band antenna by simply replacing the whip.

These antennas should not be used on glass that has heavy factory tinting. Please call us to determine if this applies to your vehicle. These antennas cannot be used on glass in homes or offices due to the improper glass thickness and double paned glass.

Antennas come complete with 15-17 feet of coaxial, low loss cable. This cable is run(hidden) through the interior trim pieces and attached to the phone via an adapter or car kit. Instructions are included with the antenna along with all needed parts, adhesives and connectors
